So excited to announce the [Annual CMT Patient & Family Conference for 2012](https://cmtausa.org/index.php?option=com_eventbooking&task=view_event&event_id=37&Itemid=123&cgroupid=0)! CMT Patient & Family Conference on November 10, 2012, from 9am-2pm. The conference, which is the first such event to be held in the Chicagoland area in years, will feature a few of the most prominent CMT clinicians and researchers, including Michael Shy, MD, Steven Scherer, MD, PhD, John Svaren, PhD, Gregory Carter, MD, and Sean McKale, CO.\* This event provides an extremely valuable opportunity to hear from the most prominent minds in the fields of CMT research and treatment. I'm going to this CMT conference and will share some info here. The Washington conference last year was full of good information and it will be nice to meet other support group facilitators. Hope to have time to visit Chicago too. ---
