Hydrogen Peroxide and Epsom Salts Foot Baths

Hi Everyone! I was wondering if anyone has tried this. I have, and even though the foot soaks don’t cure anything, they do make your feet and legs feel better…especially right before bedtime.

I use 10 cups of warm water, 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide, and a heaping tablespoon of Epsom salts. Put all of the above in one of those tubs you get when you’ve been to the hospital, or you can use one of those foot soaker machines. I found one at Walmart for around $20. Soak for at least 20 minutes, wipe dry, then apply the lotion of your choice. I had read that castor oil is soothing for neuropathy symptoms, so I found Castiva lotion while searching for something with a castor oil base. It’s actually advertised for arthritis pain, but I find the “cooling” version helps my feet and legs.

Has anyone found anything else that helps?

Thanks for the tip. My guy has much burning and pain in his feet, especially at the end of the day. I will try it. M

You’re welcome! I hope it helps him to get some relief.
