Are there more effective drugs than others used in IVIG treatments than others and what are their benefits?
Hi, I asked the same question a few days ago in a new discussion. I hope we get some feedback....
HI. Here's an article explaining in detail, all the treatments for cidp. IVIG is sometimes not effective for some and extremely effective for others. When it doesn't bring about remission, other treatments may be combined. IVIG can be replaced by some of these other treatments as well. Everyone is different, making no treatment superior to another. It's all about what works for us individually.

There are two clinical trials.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is in second phase clinical trial, used to compliment treatments. The hope is to lessen dosage and/or stretch the time between treatments.
