I was diagnosed and admitted to hospital on the 19th January 2015 after being weak and unable to walk properly from the 6th Jan, I was given ivg and went home on day 5. I went back for a check up after a week and was told to carry on with physio. My med aid have refused to pay for my physio out of hospital because of the plan I am on. I have seen the physio once and she has given me exercises I can do on my own at home. I have gone back to work for mornings only 2 weeks ago. I have a desk job and sit all day. I am battling with the constant burning pain in my hands and feet, terrible headaches and pain in the middle of my back, I am constantly tired and battle with walking any far distance. I also suffer with swats, suddenly very hot and then cold. I am 54 years old and am usually a very active perso and used to being very independent. I have been feeling very depressed and cry a lot. The doctor has prescribed me tramaset Andy myprodol and I take a sleeping pill at night, is their anything I can take that will alleviate all this pain I feel constantly. I never had respiratory problems. My tummy and back are still numb and I have a problem with my bowels, am trying flax seed to see if it will help. I would appreciate any advice as I feel very alone in all of this.

I am not doing well at all, have had a relapse and am going to be admitted to hospital for another round of ivg, hopefully this will help me to start recovering as I am finding it difficult to walk at the moment and spend most of my time laying down and the pain in my back and headaches are quite extreme. Are you fully recovered and how long did your recovery take?
