Acupuncture - has anyone found it effective?

According to the neurologist, I 'fortunately' appear to have a mild form of Guillain-Barre. I am curious if anyone has found acupuncture effective in relieving tingling/pain for fingertips and for feet.

Curious if anyone has had any positive results from using acupuncture?

I get acupuncture treatments once a week. it has helped me I have seen 3 different acupuncturist in the last 9 months. each had their own areas of study.

I have MSF and GBS first worked on walking and core movements, second one work on getting my face, eyes and mouth, now just trying to clear up the burning in feet and fuzzy feelings in my fingers

I never took any meds for pain.

Thank you for the input. It is very helpful!

i was diagnosed July 2014. I went for acupuncture treatments in January 2015 hoping to get my bad arm working. Result is my arm doesn't work, however the acupuncture treatments gave me the much needed energy to manage my daily activities. It was a very important part of my recovery. I am in Ft Lauderdale FL if you are close and need a referral. Oh and be sure to interview them and verify credentials.

Best of luck

Dwayne
