Question for any motorcyclists who have had GBS. I rode a Harley before coming down with GBS November 2012.
My story is the same story as many of you here: ICU, vent, rehab, wheelchair, walker, 2 canes, etc. At 13 months out I walk with a cane and carbon-fiber AFOs. Strength is still improving but at a slower rate - and balance is not the best although better than 5 months ago. Doing pool therapy 3 to 4 days a week.
I really enjoyed riding and hope it will be a reality next Spring. It's a Dyna Low Rider, less weight than a Touring model but still not a light bike.
Curious if any of you rode a motorcycle and were able to return to it
