Just curious if anyone has seen the intensity of their symptoms change due to weather. I live in Orlando FL and we have been having a couple of weeks of cool weather and I've noticed my symptoms have been much milder during this period.
I'm wondering if the lower pain levels is a true improvement in my symptoms or just a temporary relief due to the lower temps.
Has anyone else noticed this type of change related to either temp or humidity?
I live just outside of Chicago and for me it doesn't make a difference. For example before my last infusion the symptoms came back a few days earlier than normal where as the previous one came back a few days later than expected and the weather has pretty much been cold.
I definitely am physically effected by the weather since CIDP. I have noticed that the two situations that slow me down most are humidity & cold. The humidity makes me feel much more sluggish, the cold makes me more prone to cramping & I feel slowed. I also get really headachey & sore/stiff when it's going to rain!
I myself have seen my CIDP effected by the weather. I live in Texas and when it was hot I experienced a almost dizzy sick feeling and basically felt drunk. Unfortunately for me I have also found that the cold bothers me a lot as well. I have more bad days of cramping, nerve pain, and difficulty walking with the cold. Since we haven't had any days in between the hot to cold I am unsure if it's totally weather related or just the progression of the CIDP. Time will tell I guess. Good Luck to you all.

Where in Texas do you live. I lived in the DFW area for 12 years. Great place for family. I'm going through my first cold spell (live in FL now) since symptoms have gotten as bad as they have. Heat and humidity give me the same feels you described. The cold so far has not and I have felt better with the cold weather. When it was hot, my pain levels were higher and I had a lot more pain in my joints to the point I limped a lot. The brain fog was pretty bad during the warm weather as well.
I live about 3 hours west of Dallas area in a small town.
