Exhausted

Depressed Yes! It is so hard not being able to do the things I used to do even as simple as making dinner. Things are getting worse everyday for past 2 months. I have swallowing problems now I aspirate into my lung when i drink or eat. Which could kill me. Ended up in hospital with multiple blood clots in my arm and in my lungs, botton half of lung colapsing. I am sorry to complain but i need a friend. And need to get this off my mind sorta. Now I have fluid around my heart. Is all this part of CIDP. I also have Diabetes,Copd,Anxiety,

Shelley im not sure if there all related or not. I hope you have family and friends support. I know it wears on a person to be sick and tired all the time, and its ok to complain. We are all here to support each other and you never know who might read this and have common problems to share what has worked for them. I do have cidp and asthma and go thru periods where i am very tired. Has your dr. said all these things are related to cidp, i have read that blood clots can be a side effect of ivig. Dont know about the others. Please feel free to share any time. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, God Bless you ! Brenda

I understand the anxiety and worry over aspiration. I don't have a problem swallowing. I have a problem where my ability to cough has been impacted by loss of chest muscle or just the muscles working the diaprham are spotty. I had a cold last week and I had a heck of a time clearing my throat. Once I was trying to clear my throat and I felt phlegm balloon open in my throat and blocked the air passageway. Just as I was about to try to get in more air, it popped. Scared the heck out of me. My cough is very weak.

I too have to be careful when I eat. If I get something in my throat it could kill me. So, yes, I worry over this. But, I figure my life will go on until it's over. I just have to be careful. I did enough stupid stuff as a child, teenager, and young adult that might have killed me. After all, I was raised in the deep south. You know the good old boy saying, "Hey ya'll, watch this" And then we do something stupid and dangerous. LOL

Anyway, be careful. Eat slowly and take care of yourself. We just need to enjoy each day we can doing the things we can do now, and forget about the past way of moving easily. Maybe we will improve. We all hope and pray we do. And any improvement is worth celebrating. So be of good cheer! Life is all about change. We're just dealing with it more than others do. Hugs!

Thank you for inspiring words
