My left foot is heavely numb. Anyone else with numb feet?
My numbness comes from the cream l use. But if l don't use the cream my neuropathy drives me crazy. l hate my feet.

My feet is numb and cold all the time .The Winter time is no better my hold body is cold. I put on layer of clothing to keep warm.
my feet started going numb this past year. Others with CMT in my family started dealing with this when they were in there 20s or and I am in my late 50s. Some days they are more numb than others. I told the neurogist this a couple weeks ago when I seen her. All she said was, "That's normal." I wanted to know "why".....Oh well, am greatful I can still walk on my own
Mine are having more numbness with weather changes; I try to do things to stimulate circulation more but seems weather affects them regardless.

My feet are always cold and numb. I often feel like I have socks on when I don't. I just wear warmer socks in the winter or us a heating pad. I have to watch that the heating pad doesn't get too hot since my feet don't have much feeling in them. I don'rt understand when they are numb why they feel so cold.
I feel my feet better when I wear my moccasins in the house; more like bare feet; but, when I go out to be in nfamiliar environment I use my boots that give ankle support or wear afos in my boots.
I would wear moccasins all year round if I could. It is easier for me to "feel" the ground. When I wear my sturdy shoes, I feel like I am walking like frankenstein. But, I live in northern Minnesota and we have many months of winter so wearing moccasins isn't a good idea. I would love to be able to afford a pair of Mukluks. They have soft soles like moccasins but are very expensive
My toes started to go numb over16 years ago. The numbness has got worse and nearly all my toes and part of my feet are now numb but the strange thing is that the soles of my feet are
hypersensitive and I can feel every crease in my sock or a sand grain in my shoe. Very odd!
Hello Knopsy,
Isn't it odd how we can't feel things but when we do its magnified sensations! I have same issues; can drop plastic lid on top of foot and it sends me to ceiling with pain but ,then can't feel when step on things and cut foot or make a sore before I know it. When i see blood and start looking to see where it came from then realize I've injured myself some how. My feet can be ice cold and I have no idea until hubby says your feet are like ice but they don't feel cold to me until he puts hands on then I can feel the difference iin warmth in his hands and my foot temperature.
"Just no feelin' it" LOL

My toes on my right foot are a little numb. Not entirely, just like they have a coating on them.
good way to discribe it AlexS...that is how my toes feel too, like I have a coating on them.
