This was the very first time I had the vaccines, usually by the time the shots are available, I already have the flu or bronchitis, but was lucky to get them this year and did not get sick once, even with the grand kids visiting often.
Is anyone else experiencing this kind of success?
I get them every year and feel that I do better than when I used to not get them.
l don't ever plan to get those. Last time l got a flu shot l was extremely ill. Have done well to not ever had it since. Just sinus infections or upper respiratory. Don't get those very often since l started allergy shots.
Oh Tami, so sorry to hear this, it's always a bummer when people get sick from something supposed to help them be healthier! I was surprised I tolerated them as well as I did. I had the shots about 2-3 weeks apart, just in case!
Glad you're trying the allergy shots, my husband did this for his extreme allergy to cats. He loves the animals, but they just caused him to be so sick. He went for the allergy shot every Friday, and many years later, it is very seldom he has any reactions, if he does, they are mild! I hope you have success!
My big allergy challenges are dust, dust mites, and mold. Several times a year I have to DEEP clean everything to get the dust, and feel better when the ground is snow covered, as it covers the decaying winter vegetation.
I have been taking Claritin D most of the winter, so I have to give credit there too!

Not too crazy about flu shots...everyone feels differently about them. I am just wondering all my CMT friends out there...
Does anyone feel terribly worse in the winter months! I am finding that this winter I have aches and pains everyday. Its cold out here in Ontario, Canada! Feel much better in the summer months!

OOOOOH, I bet you are REALLY having a rough winter! We here in the US are complaining, but we have mild winters in comparison!
I'm not the CMT expert here, but I can tell you, from working so many of the Ben's Friends groups that everyone ill seems to suffer more in winter. Many realize that the barometric pressure drops are a big cause and factor!

BTW, I have an Accu Weather ap on my iphone and it is one of the few weather sites that actually give you barometric readings. I always know, even before I look at the ap, but it's nice to have validation.
Me too, I can feel it without looking at my barometric pressure instrument. My boys bought me the old fashion one that the sailors used to use. Its hand blown glass and is always accurate. I need SUN and HEAT!

Yes, -25 with the windchill ! Frigid cold! Hate it...
Whew! That kind of cold just cuts like a razor!
