A smile to you XStitcher......my Danish friend.
Also when you stated that your country has only 50 - 75 GBS cases a year, that sounds like Denmark yet I thought you were living and being treated in Britain. Could you unravel my GBS clouded ideas ?

Hi Dana,
Nope, I’ve been here in Denmark all the time. I don’t know how you got the idea about me living and being treated in Denmark. I haven’t been there for many years and then only as a tourist
Wow.....looks like GBS brain struck both of us.........
Me with my idea that you were in England.
Yourself...the second use of the word "Denmark" sounds like you were really thinking "England".
At least anytime any of us mentally step in the intellectual "puppy poop", we can blame GBS.
All my best to you,
Dana
I forgot to tell you but maybe you have a GBS support group in your area. You can go to meetings with others or even meet someone local. GBS foundation I’m pretty sure runs these.
Great idea......
How about it ? Is there a group in over-populated Orange County California ?
I'm not all that far from you, Ventura Co CA. No groups here though, that's why I was so happy to find this group. Maybe through one of the University hospitals? USC or UCLA. Or maybe through Scripps? Hope you find one!
The truth is in athletics we are trained to work thru the burn...with GBS you HAVE TO STOP! Once you feel the numbness and tingling it is time to stop...or once you feel the ascension you have to stop. you are working with let's say....injured muscles....and pushing thru will only injure them more.
See the attached article...it will help!
