Affecting the arms

My son has been diagnosed with CIDP for six minths now and receives five days of IVIG monthly. However it is his arms and shoulders that are always affected. They become weak and painful and he cannot raise his arms. His legs are always OK. Has anyone else got this presentation of the condition?

I have problems raisin my arms even alittle bit , I have no strength and the muscles are very painfurl , I even have trouble in my arms when trying to fold laundry . I also have problems with my legs . I hope your son starts to feel better soon , I know it is so much harder if a child is suffering '

Best wishes Mary

Mine started in my legs and now my arms are weaker too.

I also started with my legs and then it went into my arms. I wish the best for your son and I hope he will feel better soon!
