Any good doctors to refer in the Washington DC area?

I have been diagnosed since 2004. I am in the Northern Virginia area. Has anyone heard of a good Doctor to see. My first one died several years ago, the one I have now I am not happy with the service.

Thank You, RIchard

I don’t know about the DC area, but I live 50 miles north of DC and see a neurologist in Baltimore. That might be a bit far for you to travel, but if you really want someone good and only have to go 3 or 4 times per year, it might be worth it.

Richard,

I don't have any firsthand knowledge about the doctors at the Johns Hopkins Peripheral Neuropathy Center. However, you can get information from the following Johns Hopkins website:

http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/neurology_neurosurgery/centers_clinics/peripheral_nerve/

Then click on "our team."

If you are going to come up this far, I'd once again highly recommend Dr. Bruce Rabin. Though his name is not listed as part of the Johns Hopkins Peripheral Neuropathy Center, he is affiliated with Johns Hopkins (both hospital and medical school as a professor) and had been honored as one of Baltimore's Top 10. He allows for a more personalized experience than a larger group.
