Anyone have a favorite spring bloom?

Dear SK :

I love my new powerchair, it is such a relief not to have to push those darn wheels across our capeted floors. That's the only thing that I don't like about this building, there's that stupid carpeting.......everywhere. It's even in our kitchenettes. It's that stupid Burber carpeting that is everywhere in this building.....the same carpeting that got ruined when one of our main water pipes burst during the winter, aand got mold on it. This smells so bad, and health regulations say that it has to be pulled out, the floor has to be bleached, and the carpet will have to be replaced. an eleven thousand dollar job. And the carpeting was GLUED to the floor, WHAT A MESS!!!!! Oh well, the state of illinois will have to foot the bill on this, this is the same state that claims it is BROKE, yet, this same dumb state found 1.8 billion dollars to renovate our state capitol building, and replaced its doors with SOLID GOLD doors. Talk about a waste of money.

Anyways, while I do love this chair, in August, I'm getting my really brand new chair, ( this one s just a loaner ) That one is going to cost almost twenty thousand dollars, and the great thing is, it won't cost me a cent, NOPE, I'm going to stick this expense TO medicare/medicaid. Why stick it to them yoiu may ask ? BECAUSE FOR YEARS, THOSE DUMBBELLS HAVE ACTED STUPID AS COWPOOP WITH ME, AND NOW, I GET TO REPAY THE FAVOR, ( I'm substitutiing an inapprorite term, I know that you know what I mean, and you already caught me using inappropriate language, thanks, teacher!!! ) It's chidish, I know, but they have been so rude to me, for no reason, and now it's payback time.

On an even happier note, I had a meeting on Friday morning with our activities director, about starting a raised bed garden. There are a couple of people here who are interested in turning our bland backyard into a handicapped-friendly, raised-beds community garden We've got people who want to donate the materials, now, all we have to do is get the corporate office to give us the final approval. I think this is just what the residents here need.....a cance to getof their butts, and start living a new life for themselves.

A garden is a great way to bring new life into reality, Plus, our marketing directer is looking for a new way to find attractive keys to our community, what better way to do this than a garden.....which will bring about new life.

Jayme

Dear Jayme,

Mold is such a huge health hazzard! When the first lawsuit appears, your state will find the money, possibly by pawning those gold doors! Indoor and outdoor mold is a huge challenge to me, it can make the healthiest of us very ill. Erin Brockovich built a new home with the money she earned in the PG&E lawsuit, through leaky plumbing the mold present made them all very sick. http://www.mold-help.org/content/view/215/ Oh I am in in perfect understanding of the frustration, but though I understand, you are living it!

I'm glad you have this chair until your new one is available for you now, sometimes I guess you just need to kick up some dust to be heard! I'm sure the brand new one will be even better!

Good to hear from you Jayme, hope the approval for the garden comes through soon! It will certainly be a 'good thing' for all!

Wishing you well,

SK
