Anyone familiar with galop syndrome? Is the treatment protocols the same as CIDP?

From many reports with the later onset of GALOP, some CIDP treatments may not be of benefit depending on the effect of GALOP. It’s been reported that for some there is a demyelination with GALOP and yet for others there has been little.
For many patients corticosteroids such as prednisone are prescribed for CIDP but these are not seen as being beneficial for patients with GALOP. But it has been reported that Plasmapheresis (plasma exchange) and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) therapy are effective.
