My husband was diagnosed with GBS in December. He was in the hospital for about a month. After a couple months of PT and OT he was able to walk with a cane. Although he can use his hands and eat with a utensil (with the rubber attachment) there is constant numbness and tingling in his hands. He says it is like wearing medical gloves that are blown up. The nerve conductor tests show that he is at the expected level of recovery for GBS. It is quite frustrating for him still but much better each day. Hang in there!
