http://http://nootriment.com/agmatine-sulfate/ I just wanted to share with you something we are trying that seems to be helping, so far nothing else has. My husband Mick has been struggling with severe pain in his arms & legs the doctors have him on 10mg/5mg & 5mg/2.5mg Targin (Oxycodone Hydrochloride Naloxone Hydrochloride) . One tablet of each in the morning & One 5mg/2.5mg tablet at night. This eases the pain a little. My daughter is into fitness & health supplements & found something we should try. It's called Agmatine Sulphate. Mick has been using it for only a couple of days but it has eased the pain to a dull ache. It helps enhance the pain medication. Mick takes 1gram morning & night with his meds. It might sound funny but Mick felt a difference within a couple of hours of taking the first dose. I have put a link at the top if you would like to read more about Agmatine. I hope this helps.
Hi Dinga, I'm new here too. I am so glad to see so many members! It is wonderful that you are there for your husband, I know my mate has a full time job with me.
I looked into this supplement and definitely want to try it. I also have a lot of pain and am tired of taking so much medicine with not much relief. Also, I was wondering if your husband is taking Lyrica or gabapentin, they do seem to help a fair amount with the pain. The agmatine sulfate is inexpesive, so as soon as I can get some I will be updating on my results. Thanks for the information. Best Wishes.
Hi Dinga,
This is the first I've heard of this! I had a look around to see what the world thinks, and it seems to be a hit for mononeuropathic pain, and here is how mononeuropathic nerve pain is defined, and the concerns to have about it.

Wiki states that it can cause mild hypoglypcemic effects, and mild reductions in heart rate and blood pressure, so please be sure to talk to your Doctor about this before adding it.

This is great info, thanks so much!
Hi CoolMommaDucky, We have been trying this Agmatine Sulphate for over a week now & in that time the amount of pain relief has been remarkable. It doesn't get rid of it completely but makes it bareable. Mick missed taking it one night because it was late & he thought it would be fine. The next morning the first thing he said to me was I can't miss taking that again. It helps him sleep better too. He told his doctor about it & he said he had not heard of it but if it was helping him to keep taking it. When he see's his neurologist next he will talk to him about it too. It may work differently for different people but I'd like to think that my mention of it may help someone else. I will look into the Lyrica &Gabapentin thank you. Will keep you up dated on how things are going. Hope I have helped in some small way. Take care.

Sorry CoolMommaDucky, I forgot to mention that Agmatine tastes bitter so when you take it mix it in something sweet.
