Is there anyone that has had GBS that suffers from a residual effect that is an excruciating pain in the upper back like shingles? I have had this ever since my diagnosis last December. It feels like acid under the skin. It is very painful to even have clothing touch the skin, or to sit with my back against a chair. Upon doing some research on the Internet, I have found that these symptoms describe a condition known as "Dysesthesia." I don't know what to do for it. The Dr. is now trying Gabapentin and a Tens unit. I can't find anyone else that suffers from this.....
