We've had nothing but rain, and flash flood alerts! Oh, my aching bones!
Does this weather bother anyone else?
Yes especially when I'm training for the HNF fundraiser this weekend to raise funds for CMT. Its a 42 mile Bike ride and I need to train. The rain is awful here in NY. The funds raised will go to CMT Research.

The most terrifying part for me and rain is to slip and fall in my lobby. I just can't deal with a slippery floor. We expect brighter days and sunshine on Friday.
Yes I have lots more pain with rain and cold. It has been raining,snowing and windy here for several days at least the snow isn't sticking but still. I had to go out and about today and I was really hurting when I got home....Dreaming of the beach :)

You bet your sweet patoot this crummy weater effects me. It affects my mind, my personality, my legs, and this darn COLD weather effects my whole body because it freezes me. The C.M.T. that I have sems to be effecting me more and more because with this COLD, RAINY, weather, my body is getting colder and colder. Someone said that this was Spring, HA!!!!!!! YEAH, RIGHT!!!!!

OMG...I just came back from a visit with my GP...it has been raining her since Monday, cold, damp, windy! I have been so tired for four days, non stop. Achy everywhere! CMT is not good with cold, which sucks! We have 10 months of winter, 2 months of summer these past years...I need to move to a warmer, dryer climate. Anyways, with all my symptoms that I gave my doctor, after her thorough check up, she is testing me for MONO! Testing my B12, Iron which I am low in to begin with, thyroid, liver. One week for the results...
Sorry guys, its comforting to hear that other CMT'ers have the same achy feelings as me, I started to worry. But we will all get better as soon as this weather decides to stop.

I coldn't agree with you more. Someone once said that there were four seasons, Ha!!!!!! Not in the mid-west there aren't, we have two months of summer, July and August, one month of fall, September, and nine moths of WINTER, no Spring. We got jipped. And for those of us with older parents, this stupid weather is one kind hell, and for those of us with C.M.T., this is another kind of hell. But they say better weather is on its way, so we'll see.

Yes, I live in Northern Minnesota and we have the same weather. We are suppose to see the sun on sunday and a high of 50 with more rain next week. the mosquitoes are going to be huge this year with all the water. I don't like being a whiner but I just can't help it lately. UGHHHHH

The weather here in the mid-west sucks this year!!!!! And you're so right about those ridiculous mosquitos, they're gonna be huge, with vicious appetites. We don't mean to be whiners about this life, but this darn COLD Has got to go and never come back.

It finally stopped raining here today, but the barometric pressure is still low, makes me feel as though my bones are broken!
Supposed to be in the mid 60's tomorrow, no rain, so hopefully it will be a better day for us!
We don't have 4 seasons either. As a kid we even had spring clothes, but now we go from winter coats to shorts, and shorts to winter coats! It's crazy!
I know the scientists are saying global warming, but it just gets colder here, it's colder longer anyway!

You are so right, in saying that our four seasons are just a crock of manure. We've only got two seasons : summer and clold. Scientist say we are experiencing Global Warming, we probably are. I blame it on all that diesal fuel the big rig trucks belched out of their smoe stacks during the seventies.

Hi Jayme,
No doubt that has a huge impact on the earth and atmosphere. I'm a big history channel fan, and I've seen the shows where the scientists show how an area could change during one lifetime, from a lush area to a barren desert, in ancient time, so no exhaust there, unless it was volcano exhaust!

It stopped here too! I am in the Toronto area...still chilly! Bones are hurting...this is nuts! Oh no, I haven't seen spring for years now, true, from boots to shorts (which I don't wear cause of my legs) then back to boots again.
Does anyone know of any vitamins that help "nerve pain"????
HI Carm, here's a good place to start looking, the B12 and B 6 top the list, but Evening Primrose Oil, adn COQ10 is also great. Please talk to your Doctor for proper usage, and adding any of these to meds first!
