It's more and more difficult for me to find a sock that is all cotton, even the Gold Toe is putting more and more nylon in their socks! The nylon seems to 'cut my feet'!
Is there a brand that you prefer?
l am going through a big sock issue myself. Going to order some Buster Brown 100% cotton socks on Amazon. Not sure where to buy them in a store anymore.
l tend to like nice thick wool blend socks for warmth. This past winter was especially bad with colder weather.
l have new diabetic shoes that have smaller box area for toes to thick socks are not going to work for now. Have been looking for something to use this summer. l did buy some Gold Toe and had to give them away they squeezed my toes so much. l bought two other styles of Gold Toe. Used one yesterday, not too bad.

You are so very right, the sock manufacturers seem to put nylon material into all of their products, which make for, in my estimation, a very s****y product. I hate to say this, but try going online to " Buck-naked Underwear.com ", The name is gross, but they sell clothing made for cold weather. I know what yu mean about finding socks not made of 100% cotton for your arthritic feet. I hate to say it, but you can find almost anything online, computers are good for something afterall, and some people said that they were just a fad. Ha!!!!!!

Nothing works for me. I can't stand anything touching my ankles. I ordered diabetic socks, they we soft but pulled so easy and stretched out very easy. I am glad it is summer and I do not have to wear socks. I tried anklets they fall down on my foot. Maybe I will try the amazon socks.
I was looking for socks for my husband that weren't so tight, so I looked in women's and men's and though I did not find a thing for him, I found a cotton sock with a bit of stretch to it at Walmart for under a dollar a pair, but they had no more, (I rand down several clerks and asked) and I have yet to see them since. One problem is I don't get out much! I bought all 5 pair, but the're getting worn. Can't seem to find anything, but I'll check out those Buster Browns! I used to wear those shoes as a kid!
tga, I got some super thick wool socks at Sierra Trading Company, online, they have drastic discounts, but you really have to spend time to find what you need! They are so thick I cannot wear them if my feet are even slightly swollen, as my shoes won't fit, I do wear them every time I wear my boots though. I have Rayanud's so I have to keep those toes and fingers well covered or they actually will turn white, and sometimes blue!
Now they may have something less thick than what I have!
