I am happy to say I finally got approval from my insurance company to do home weekend infusions of IVIG.
I had a four day 2gram course in early January which I responded to miraculously well. Second two day outpatient infusion at local cancer center five weeks ago.
Very interesting how the recrudescence manifests in the same pattern each time with my left leg getting clumsy and kind of a bubble wrapped feeling with numbness extending into the perineal region and a little in my left arm as well.
My son asked , "is there a maintenance treatment between the infusions that could help to preserve the benefits?"
I don't know the answer to that.........anyone have any thoughts?
