This Thanksgiving, I'm Thankful For

In America, this Thursday is Thanksgiving. We spend the day thinking about what we are grateful for and also eating a lot of turkey and pie. :)

I thought it would be fun to start a discussion on what we're all thankful for. I'll get it going:

I'm thankful that my wonderful girlfriend, Vanessa, accepted my marriage proposal last weekend. We're all smiles here. :)

I'm also thankful that this community exists and helps so many people. We started Ben's Friends (www.bensfriends.org) 6 years ago and now over 80,000 patients and loved ones visit all 35 sites every month. It's truly a little Internet miracle.

I'm grateful for the community, the friendships and especially thankful that the volunteer moderators donate so much of their time to help others. Thank You Mods!

Ok, that's what I'm thankful for. How about you? Let us know below.

Scott

Scott, first of all, a huge Congrats on your engagement! I am thankful for everything you done to make this community exist for all of us. I am very thankful that my CIDP is controllable, and that I was able to get my IVIG treatments completed in time to spend this holiday in beautiful Sedona! I am thankful for life in general. Thanks, Scott. Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for my children and grandchildren. My sister ( even though she can be a pain in my side). And very thankful for finding this site and making the friends I have on here. I appreciate them so much. You know who you are.

I am thankful that my son, who a little over a year ago and still had to face the trough that occurred in January and February, has recovered his strength and balance enough to have landed his dream job as a city planning technician in our city and is able to work full days. Thanks to God, good neurologists, and IVIG for helping him to be able to live with CIDP.

What great notes! Thanks!

I don't know why, but I'm thankful she accepted your proposal also. lol good luck

Thanks Littleone!
