If you have foot drop how often does your doctor measure it? My mom has a new neurologist who is not as familiar with CIDP and she's worried that he's not following any standard procedures for assessing her condition.
Thanks
Anne

I had an EMG when it happened to me in 2005, but my Neurologist still didn't know it was CIDP because six months later my foot had recovered 90% of it's functioning. I would ask for this if I was her. Gary
Thanks! I'll tell her. Is this a one-time, or ongoing test?
No, it's not a one time test, it should be done every three to six months. For more info my email is ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■. Tell your mom good luck for me!! Gary
