I was wondering, during your diagnosis process, do everyone get an MRI to rule out MS?

Hi,

I think an MRI scan is used in most cases and can also rule out other medical conditions. Over the course of my illness, (6 years) I have had 6 MRI scans which have also included my spine.

I have had 2 mri's, one on my brain and one on my spine, but neither showed anything and it was a muscle biopsy that made it clear that I had cidp, I have had cidp since I was two (13yrs ago) and haven't had a new spine mri since.

Yes I had an MRI but to look at the Ataxia I was also experiencing. It turns out I have Celiac Ataxia in addition to the CIDP
